The anticipated increase in the official fees at the Egyptian Trademark Office with regards to the filing of trade marks and designs has been placed on hold. The increase was initially tabled in a ministerial decree (No.179) that listed 05 September 2019 as the date of implementation, but an official confirmed that it will be delayed.

Brand owners interested in filing trade marks and designs in Egypt are encouraged to take advantage of the current price hike delay as there will be no change in our fees for Egypt until the end of 2019.
